Area D6 Joint Christmas Meeting at The Tanamera

This coming chapter meeting, we will be doing a Joint meeting with 4 other clubs in our Area, they are consist of  Siglap, Bedok, NSRCC, PSRC and SIA Toastmasters Club. All our clubs are situated around eunos, siglap, changi, bedok and east coast area.

Meeting Date : 18th December 2008

Time : 7pm – 10pm

Location :The Tanamera Condominium’s Jasmine Room, located at Block 7,

Tanah Merah Kechil Road.

The Tanamera is a 3-block condo estate, about five-minute walk

distance from the Tanah Merah mrt station.

Good News – We have made it!!!

It’s been a while since I last posted an entry and I bring you good news today, I am glad to announce that Sigalp Toastmasters club is President Distinguished Club for the very first time and we have achieved all 10 out of 10 requirements set by Toastmasters International, this definitely calls for a celebration.

I will say that I didn’t do this alone but with the help of each and every member of our club and fellow toastmasters from other clubs, It has been a very fruitful and fulfilling year for the club . The learning always comes from the doing and when all of us are working towards our educational goals anything is possible.

To date the club had produced 4 Competent Communicators, 2 Advance Communicators , 7 Competent Leaders and 1 Area D6 Prepared Speech and Table Topics Champion.
